Pastikan Anda Dihitung Di Sensus Penduduk

Sensus Penduduk Indonesia akan dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 1 - 31 Mei 2010. Sensus tahun ini yang berslogan "Pastikan Anda Dihitung" bertepatan dengan Sensus 2010 Amerika Serikat (United States Census 2010) dengan slogan "It's In Our Hands" atau "Semua Ada di Tangan Kita". Sensus Penduduk Indonesia yang dilaksanakan oleh Badan Pusat Statistik terlaksana untuk yang ke-encam kali setelah tahun 1961, 1971, 1980, 1990, dan 2000. Dikutip dari Kontan, Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mengerahkan 700.000 petugas untuk mengambil data ke 60 juta rumah tangga yang tersebar di 90.000 desa di 33 propinsi. Sebelum sensus ini  dimulai, BPS sudah disosialisasikan ke masyarakat melalui iklan layanan masyarakat di berbagai stasiun televisi. BPS telah mengeluarkan biaya sebesar Rp 3,3 triliun.
